The Pacific Northwest CryoEM Center (PNCC) is offering a three-day, hands-on training workshop for ~15 trainees on atomic modeling in cryoEM. This workshop will be held at PNCC on September 9-11, 2026. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their own data (maps and models) to get guidance from the invited expert instructors.
This workshop will cover the use of Phenix, ChimeraX and ISOLDE, through both theory based presentations and guided, hands-on, practical sessions. Invited instructors include:
- Dorothee Liebschner and Pavel Afonine (LBNL, Phenix)
- Eric Pettersen (UCSF, ChimeraX)
- Tristan Croll (Altos Labs, ISOLDE)
